What to expect
Your therapist will talk to you about your treatment.
When treatment begins the therapist will apply the Scenar device onto your skin at first you will feel coldness from the metal strips but only briefly.
As the therapist turns the power up you will feel a tingling sensation to a comfortable/tolerable level, the therapist will ask you. It should not be painful, tell your therapist.
Treatment time can be 30mins to 1hour.
Tell your therapist if you feel any changes, funny/weird sensations, a point of difference so to speak.
The aim is to achieve a CHANGE in your condition during treatment.
In some cases you will feel worse after the treatment. This is a good sign so do not be alarmed. It indicates that your body is responding quickly and a change is occurring. This is what we are looking for after your first visit. You will be asked to keep note of any changes you experience good or bad your therapist will ask you at your next appointment.
